I work from a strength and authenticity standpoint, specializing in support for adult and adolescent women. I also specialize in low libido in women which is so often due to other anxieties and traumas; divorce support for those considering separation, going through the legal process or coping with the after effects; and am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)for trauma processing as well as any other issues that may be "stuck."
As a therapist who is also a yoga teacher I can bring in the philosophies that are connected to the holistic concepts of the yogic traditions. This would include work stemming from the 8 limbs of yoga that teach loving kindness, honesty, contentment, self-awareness and much more. If it feels appropriate to our work I may recommend mild restorative yoga postures to help with anxiety, depression and even sleep disturbances.
